After reading a lovely poem on sleep, I realized that I'm terrified of falling asleep. I'm happy with the state of sleepiness and even being asleep but the moment before entering sleep is pure soul splitting terror. Especially if I'm trying to force myself to sleep when I'm not sleepy...and combine that with it being dark. Sheer panic.
S.N: imagine if panic were actually sheer. Just enough to barely see through, what would we see if we squinted really hard and looked through it.
